Intake, Eligibility and Admission
Procedure |

Intake |
There
shall be a basic unit of 100 students. |
|
Eligibility for Admission:- |
Candidate
should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree
of any recognized University in any
faculty and should have offered at least
one school subject at the first and or
second degree level as principal or
subsidiary or allied or optional
subject.
OR
Graduates in Physical Education with 40%
marks.
OR
Graduate with physical education as an
elective subject with 40% marks.
OR
Graduate having participated in
National/State/Inter-University
sports/games/athletics/SGFI.
OR
Any Graduate who participated School,
Inter collegiate in Sports/Games OR
passed NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
OR
For Deputed/In service candidates
(trained Physical Education teachers/
coaches) Graduate with 40% marks.
The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other
categories shall be as per the rules of
the Central Government / State
Government, whichever is applicable.
There shall be relaxation of 5% marks in
favour of SC/ST/OBC and other categories
of candidates. |

Admission
Procedure |
Admission
shall be made on merit on the basis of
marks obtained in the entrance test
(written test, sports proficiency test,
physical fitness test and marks obtained
in the qualifying examination) or any
other selection process as per the
policy of the University/ State
Government and Private state association
Physical Education with due weight age
for physical fitness/ proficiency, as
per the policy of the University/State

Course |

Intake |
There
shall be a basic unit of 10 students for
each year. |
|
Eligibility |
University
or any other statutory university
recognized by U.G.C. will be eligible
for the admission to M.P.Ed. Course
provided that other conditions of
admissions are fulfilled 50% marks are
compulsory in following courses.
I) B.P.Ed.
ii) B.Ed ( Physical Education)
iii) D.P.Ed.
iv) H.D.Ed
v) B.P.E. (
Intake -

(a)
Candidates who have obtained at least
50% marks in the B.P.Ed. degree/B.P.Ed
(Integrated) 4 years professional degree
are eligible for admission.
(b) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and
other categories shall be as per the
rules of the Central Government / State
Government, whichever is applicable.
There shall be relaxation of 5% marks in
